We have already passed the half way mark in the Rotary Year. Boy is it flying by fast. We still have a lot more we can do in our community and for each other, so I hope to see you at future events that I'll be sharing. Most urgently, our January Board meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, January 23 at EAT Honolulu. We will be working on planning a Visioning Session for our Club to end this Rotary Year with more accomplishments and to start laying the plans for next year. Mahalo! A small, but mighty crew of our Rotary E-Coub of Hawaii members joined other Rotarians at Waikalua Loko I‘a on Saturday for a day of service to clean up an ancient fishpond. This year, we articulated in mangrove removal. Mahalo to Kama Hopkins and Tippi Cogen for joining me in representing our Club, giving their time, and especially their manual labor. We are hitting the ground running in 2017 with our first service project this Saturday at Waikalua Loko Fishpond. This is the second year we are participating. Volunteer days include a tour and history of the fishpond, which also makes for gorgeous photos. Just ask Biz! Please stay for lunch at noon, which will allow time for friendship.
