PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Laine Kohama, President 2015-2016Aloha Rotary E-Club members and fellow Rotarians! ![]() Inducting a brand-new member is always a blessing. It was such an exciting time to have our first official New Focus induction at our club (mahalo Ayman for teaching us), with our newest member Samantha Switalski and current member Kama Hopkins. Please check out her induction video and mahalo to PE Capsun on recording the video. I’ll be showcasing Kama next week in my report as we are still working out the video upload for him. 😃 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Laine Kohama, President 2015-2016Aloha Rotary E-Club members and fellow Rotarians! ![]() The one thing, well there are many things that are great about Rotary, but one of my favorite things to do is to attend the fundraisers. It’s where we all sit down and have a great time enjoying the event, food, and friendship. This month I was able to attend the sold out, Ala Moana Club’s Crab Fest Fundraiser. It was wonderful to see PE Capsun and his lovely wife Linh helping out, with Kama and his wife, and our newest member Samantha! PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Laine Kohama, President 2015-2016Aloha Rotary E-Club members and fellow Rotarians! ![]() Hope you’re having a great day, afternoon, or evening where you are at attending our meeting and thank you for joining us. This week was the Ala Moana Club’s crab fest fundraiser at Kapiolani Community College. Our very own Capsun was there helping out with his wife Linh. They did a great job getting us all taken care of at the event. Also our newest member Samantha was there, and our resident musician Kama was there too with his wife. I’ll report back on this later. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Laine Kohama, President 2015-2016Aloha Rotary E-Club members and fellow Rotarians! ![]() Last week we had a great time with the Kahala Sunrise club, and volunteered at the River of Life Mission to feed the homeless. Also, I gave a talk to the Ala Moana Rotary Club on Cyber Security (Mahalo PE Capsun for coming). Past President Garry spent time with the Kahala Sunrise club at their Assembly. Lastly, I met with some prospective members and I’ll report back on all of those later. |
