Meeting: Top Things You Need to Know About Every Rotarian Every Year (November 11 to November 17, 2015
PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - Laine Kohama, President 2015-2016
November 11th, 2015
Aloha Rotary E-Club members and fellow Rotarians!
I would like to thank our men and women that serve and protect our great country the United States of America. I remember the project we participated in earlier this year to help our homeless vets. It was so rewarding and an honor to help our men and women that served.
Next week I’m hoping to share the Rotary Zone Institute. I’ll be speaking at the Honolulu Metro club tomorrow and visiting the West Honolulu club on Friday to have a multi club meeting. I’m looking forward to both.
Next week we’ll be at the Pearl Harbor club on Monday at 12:00 pm. Looking forward to seeing our E Club members and the folks at the Pearl Harbor club. Also, next week is our board meeting on Wednesday. Hoping some of you can make it.
Below are pictures of the grant writing class I went to last week. Dave and Mark were awesome teaching us about the Rotary Foundation and Grant writing. It’s always great to see my Rotary friends and meet new ones too. Also, great job to Ray for attending the webinar on the Rotary Foundation and sharing the info with us.
Lastly please send your money, stubs, and left over tickets to our Rotary E Club of Hawaii mailing address before next week Monday so we can turn in the money to Kahala Mall. Have a great week everyone. I’ll leave you with a quote, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

November is Rotary Foundation Month. This is a great time to make sure that you take a few minutes at each meeting to promote the Rotary Foundation and encouraging others to make a tax deductible contribution. Here are a few things that you may want to consider to help reach your goals.
